I have a 5, 3, and 7 month old. We’ve never been a screen time family until a couple months ago. All I wanted was to hold my daughter to sleep in a dark nursery and read my kindle or take a nap myself lol but I needed the older to be occupied. We do quiet time everyday from 1-2 but the baby isn’t on a schedule yet so her nap may or may not line up with that. Whether it does or doesn’t, her first nap after quiet time, the kids know that’s screen time. So I get two built in breaks in the day!

I need to get on the toddler charcuterie board train, we go through too many pre packaged snacks over here!

I have an 18 month old and we have her throwing away her diaper after we change her and taking the silverware out of the dishwasher. The dishwasher one is amazing because in the time it takes her to do that I can empty all of the other stuff without her clinging to me.

Our 8 and 5 year olds do bedroom cleanup, playroom cleanup, put their laundry away, help bring in and out away groceries. They are practicing sweeping and they know how and where to unload 90% of our items in the dishwasher. They wipe down the counter and bathroom mirror. They water the dogs and clean up the dog toys! They know how to fluff and replace pillows on the couch and we're working on folding blankets and putting them back on the couch! And then obviously they help straighten up nightly and are in charge of clearing their own table stuff.

There's more I'm sure but that's what I can think of off the top of my head! We have a daily "responsibility" choice board, maybe I'll post that in the group thread! Nothing beautiful but it's been incredibly helpful and diffuses battles over chores!
